Dana Smith is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Solid Organ Transplant at AdventHealth in Orlando, where she has also served as Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Director of Heart & Lung Transplant for over six years. Her clinical expertise spans cardiovascular care, disease management, quality improvement, and program development across complex, high-acuity patient populations.
Dana holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Adult Cardiovascular Nurse Practice from Duke University. She brings her clinical insights into the classroom as an Adjunct Professor in UCF's College of Nursing, where she has taught for seven years.
