Read about the integrity, passion and family values that led Joy to the production of high-quality CBD products.
Joy Organics finds its roots in common problems: chronic pain and trouble sleeping.
When Joy found herself suffering from both issues, she made the choice to research natural solutions. During her search she learned about the benefits of CBD. Unfortunately, she also learned an unpleasant truth about the CBD industry: its products rarely work.
CBD isn’t the problem. The problem is an industry that is largely unregulated and full of poorly produced products. After trying seven of the biggest CBD brands on the market and only finding relief from one, Joy realized that there was a need.
After learning all this, Joy decided to do something about it. And Joy Organics was born.
Her mission? To help people by creating the most pure, organic and bioavailable broad spectrum cannabinoid products on the market, all at a price people can afford.
This mission remains Joy’s promise to you.
Joy's Family-Owned and -Operated Business
Before anything else, Joy Organics is a family business. Joy’s family was the first to benefit from her products, and now they are an integral part of her mission.
The first person to join Joy’s team was her husband, Todd. His 28 years of experience with the world’s leading metabolic health company proved invaluable to Joy’s mission. Todd is a respected author and international speaker on personal and professional excellence.
Joy’s son Gerrid soon joined in. His experience as owner of a top internet marketing firm was just what Joy needed to help spread the word online.
Next was Danielle, Joy’s oldest daughter. Danielle used her experience as a wellness coach and social media professional to help manage Joy’s social media and help open her first store in Fort Collins, Colorado. Eventually, Danielle opened the second Joy Organics store in Austin, Texas, which she manages today.
Danielle’s husband Josh decided to join the team with his wife. His background in internet marketing, coaching and training equipped him to develop Joy’s partnership programs.
Joy’s youngest daughter Hannah, an international journalist, joined her mother in Fort Collins as the communications director.
Her youngest son Jake provides the business with financial advice as he works on his Ph.D. in finance.
Any mother would be overjoyed to have her husband and all four children play an active role in her business, but what makes Joy even happier is to have her grandchildren and grandpuppies involved as well!
Titus pitches in wherever he’s needed, but his favorite job is helping to ship his grandmother’s products around the country.
Josiah works hard to keep the Fort Collins store clean.
And don’t forget Stella, who has the vital job of sealing and stamping envelopes.
Joy has three more grandchildren who live out of state. While they don’t have jobs yet, Joy is working hard on recruiting them. Check back later to see if she succeeded!
As for her grandpuppies, Shalomy, Cooper and Josie, they are the official taste testers of Joy’s dog treats and pet products.
Joy’s passion throughout her adult life has been helping people in need. Whether she is waking up at 5 a.m. to serve breakfast to the homeless or raising money to help starving children around the world, Joy is happiest when serving others.
In addition to the work she does with Joy Organics, Joy is also an international speaker. This role has brought her around the world, where she gives hope to women everywhere she speaks. The next time you stop by her Fort Collins store, you’ll find products available that support the local community and micro-enterprises around the world.
Joy is committed to using her resources to help those who need them. She continues to create programs with this goal in mind. Whether it’s giving free products to families who can’t afford them or giving a portion of her sales to deserving non-profits, Joy’s commitment to giving back is an integral part of her business.
One of Joy’s many commitments is to leave a better world for the next generation. As a progressive leader, this means furthering respect for human rights and fighting against social injustice.
In her role as business owner, Joy believes in showing respect to her employees, suppliers, customers and anyone else who comes in contact with her products. She also remains committed to safeguarding the environment by keeping Joy Organics a primarily green company.
Joy's Long-Term Goal
