Cool Mint Cream Brownie

The creamy texture is due to the delicious mint-buttercream filling. While this recipe calls for you to bake Joy Organics Tranquil Mint CBD Tinctures into the filling to enhance its minty flavor, beware that heating up the oil can damage some of the cannabinoids in the formula. The recipe calls for you to bake the brownies at 350° F. While the boiling point of CBD is unknown, scientists predict that THC will boil off around 157° C (314° F). If CBD falls into the same category, which hasn't been scientifically proven, then there is a risk of losing some of the potential benefits.   • 1 10 oz. package of Andes Creme De Menthe Baking Chips
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 6 T unsalted butter, divided into 1 T pieces
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp pink Himalayan sea salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 3 free-range eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla bean

Mint-Buttercream Filling:

Ganache Frosting:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 T butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or coconut milk
  • 3-5 drops Joy Organics Tranquil Mint CBD Tincture


  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F and line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
  2. Pour the Andes chips, 1/3 cup of chocolate chips and 6 T of butter into a microwavable bowl and melt in microwave for increments of 10 seconds until chocolate has melted.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch, cocoa powder and sea salt.
  4. After the chocolate melts, stir in sugar until well-mixed, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Add in the eggs, one at a time, stirring until combined.
  6. Pour in the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  7. Spread the batter over the parchment paper-covered pan evenly and put into the oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, allow to cool and begin the frosting.
  9. Beat the butter on medium speed.
  10. Once creamy, add in the confectioners' sugar and mix on low speed.
  11. Once combined, turn up to medium for three to four minutes.
  12. Add in peppermint extract, CBD tincture, and milk products and beat for one more minute.
  13. Spread the buttercream evenly over the cooled-off brownies.
  14. Now, put the chocolate chips and butter for the ganache into a medium microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds, or until completely melted.
  15. Pour the ganache over the brownies and allow to sit for at least a half-hour to cool.

Zesty CBD Brownies

One of the most delicious food pairings is orange and chocolate. Luckily for those who are living the gluten free life, you can enjoy the melding of sweet chocolate and citrusy orange with these Zesty CBD Brownies!



  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup gluten free flour (Bob's Red Mill is a great option).
  • 2 T of orange pieces
  • 3-5 drops of Joy Organics Orange CBD Tincture
  • 1 T orange zest
  • Pink Himalayan sea salt, dash


  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 4 T butter
  • 3 T orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 3-5 drops of Joy Organics Orange CBD Tincture


  1. Place the oven rack in the center of your oven and preheat to 350° F.
  2. Grease an 8x8 pan.
  3. Place butter and cocoa into a small microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds.
  4. Beat eggs in a medium mixing bowl.
  5. Add sugar, flour, orange juice, zest, salt, and CBD Tincture to the beaten eggs until well-combined.
  6. Pour in butter and cocoa mixture and mix well.
  7. Spread batter into the pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool, and work on the frosting.
  9. Beat everything for the frosting except for the CBD Tincture until its smooth.
  10. Drop in CBD Tincture and mix.
  11. Spread evenly over the cooled brownies and cut into bars for serving.

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla bean
  • 1 T fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 T fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 3-5 drops of Joy Organics Lemon CBD Tincture


  1. Preheat the oven to 350º F and line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in the microwave and allow it to cool.
  3. Whisk together the flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Whisk in the milk, eggs, vanilla bean, lemon juice and zest.
  5. Add in the butter mixture and combine well.
  6. Pour in the CBD Tincture and stir lightly.
  7. Spread the batter into a baking dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the blondies turn golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  8. Allow to cool while you work on the frosting.
  9. Whisk everything but the CBD tincture into a small bowl.
  10. Add in the tincture and gently stir.
  11. When the blondies have cooled, spread the frosting evenly over the top and then cut into bar sizes for serving.

Nutty Vegan CBD Brownies

  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together almond butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup and agave nectar.
  4. Pour in the coconut oil and whisk until you have a caramel-like texture.
  5. Add in the cocoa powder 1/4 cup at a time.
  6. Whisk in fleggs, vanilla bean and sea salt.
  7. Add in the gluten free flour and fold until well-combined.
