full spectrum CBD

The process of shopping for high-quality, full spectrum CBD oil can be daunting. It’s not uncommon for a first-time buyer to end up ordering CBD oil from a company that produces inferior products. So how can you be assured that you’re getting what you need when you purchase CBD oil? When it comes to shopping for high-quality, effective CBD oil, a little knowledge can go a long way.

Of course, all companies say they make great products, but that’s truly not the case — especially when it comes to CBD oil. One reason for this is that there are no rules as to what a company can call CBD oil. They can add a few drops of CBD to a bucket of corn oil and call it CBD oil. Or they could be selling CBD oil made from hemp that’s deficient in cannabinoids and beneficial terpenes.

One of the most important things to consider is how the product was made. Knowing how CBD oil is made can help you to nail down a source for a high-quality product of the type that’s going to do you the most good. Was the product made by adding cheap, low-quality CBD paste to an oil base? Or is it actually a high-quality, full spectrum, CBD-rich oil that’s extracted from a potent strain of CBD-rich hemp and includes the original mix of beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes?

How is CBD Oil Made?

It All Starts With the Hemp

High-quality CBD oil starts with high-quality hemp. You have probably heard that CBD oil comes from industrial hemp. If your CBD oil comes from the kind of industrial hemp grown in Europe and Asia, it can’t be very good. The reason for this is that this type of industrial hemp is grown to produce fibers or seeds, not cannabinoids and terpenes.

In order to produce a product that’s rich in these beneficial compounds, you need to start with a strain of CBD-rich hemp which is cultivated to produce bountiful, resinous flower clusters — not seeds or fibers.

Industrial hemp is grown in vast fields packed together sometimes twenty or thirty plants to a square meter. It grows up to 15 feet tall with spindly stalks and tiny flowers except at the very top of the plant.

If you’re producing hemp fiber, you need to harvest the plant before it even flowers. And if you’re producing seeds, you’re not producing CBD. Seeds have zero cannabinoids. As soon as an industrial hemp plant is fertilized, it puts all its energy into making seeds. These types of industrial hemp plants typically will contain only a small percent of cannabinoids.

CBD-rich hemp, on the other hand, is grown in plots or pots. It’s bushy and produces resinous buds that are rich in cannabinoids and terpenes. These plants are not only different than industrial hemp, they are not even a strain of industrial hemp.

CBD-rich hemp plants look and smell like marijuana and are grown in the same way. These plants produce anywhere from ten to twenty percent CBD and other cannabinoids and are very high in terpenes compared to industrial hemp. This is the hemp you want to use if you’re producing high-quality CBD oil.

The 4 Stages of Refinement

Once these CBD-rich plants are ready to harvest, they then must go through an extraction and refinement process. This process can be broken up into four steps:

  1. Extraction of raw hemp extract
  2. Filtering out unwanted solids and chlorophyll
  3. Distillation to concentrate the oil
  4. Further distillation to isolate the CBD

The Types of Products Produced

At each stage of this process, a different product is produced.

  1. The first extraction produces raw hemp extract.
  2. Filtering produces a palatable extract.
  3. Distillation produces a potent, full spectrum oil.
  4. Extreme distillation produces pure CBD isolate.

The first three steps in this process produce a product which maintains the original ratios of cannabinoids and terpenes which are found naturally in the plant. Let’s look at the differences in these products.

Hemp extract, the product produced in stage one of the process above, although it does have a mixture of cannabinoids and terpenes, is not extremely desirable. For starters, it has an extremely strong and unpleasant flavor. It also contains a lot of unwanted solids, waxes and compounds such as chlorophyll. The levels of cannabinoids and terpenes can vary greatly in raw hemp extract. In order to produce a consistent and effective hemp extract, additional filtering and distillation are desirable.

Full spectrum CBD oil is produced by taking a more refined product and combining it with an oil base such as hemp seed oil, grape seed oil or MCT oil. This product contains the full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes. It can be formulated to produce a consistent potency. It can also undergo additional processes to increase its effectiveness such as nanoemulsion encapsulation, which gives the product higher bioavailability so that more of the CBD and other compounds can enter your bloodstream. For most people, this is the ideal CBD product.

CBD made with isolates is produced by adding refined CBD to an oil base. This product is devoid of the essential oils produced by the hemp plant, as well as the other beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes. It does not produce an entourage effect. Multiple cannabinoids and terpenes can be added to these products to create what is known as broad spectrum CBD oil. Don’t let this confuse you. This is not full spectrum CBD oil. It’s an unnatural product which is made with highly refined ingredients.

Also, broad spectrum oils that are made from CBD isolate cannot contain the wide variety of cannabinoids and terpenes found in full spectrum oils. This would make the products prohibitively expensive. And what would be the point of stripping every one of these active compounds out only to add it back in?

Full Spectrum CBD Oil or CBD Isolate — Which is Better?

Full Spectrum CBD vs. CBD IsolateWhile CBD is the most abundant cannabinoid, the other cannabinoids and terpenes each have their own medicinal properties. When combined, these compounds produce an enhanced effect known as the entourage effect. For example, some terpenes help cannabinoids penetrate the brain-blood barrier, while others interact with cannabinoid receptors in ways that are different from cannabinoids. Terpenes can also interact with other types of receptors in novel ways.

While it is not recommended for most consumers, CBD isolate does have its purposes. These isolates are starting to show up in pharmaceutical drugs developed to reduce seizures in epilepsy patients (Epidiolex) and to treat conditions such as multiple sclerosis (Sativex — currently only available in Canada).

In order for these products to pass FDA guidelines and produce consistent results, they must provide exact doses of active ingredients such as CBD.

However, for the average person, full spectrum products (because they contain a range of beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes, each of which produces its own effects) is a far superior product.

Evidence for this was provided in a 2015 study entitled, “Overcoming the Bell-Shaped Dose-Response of Cannabidiol by Using Cannabis Extract Enriched in Cannabidiol.”

Researchers in this study noticed that previous studies had shown that administration of CBD isolate produced a bell dose-response curve. What this means is that the efficacy of purified CBD is highly dose-dependent. While pure CBD can be shown to provide therapeutic benefits at a certain dosage, doses both above and below the effective dosage showed a dramatic decline in efficacy. The researcher report states, “Healing was only observed when CBD [isolate] was given within a very limited dose range, whereas no beneficial effect was achieved at either lower or higher doses.”

The intention of the study was to determine whether full spectrum CBD-rich extract would also generate a bell-shaped dose-response curve. The authors explained, “The aim of the present study was to find a CBD source that could eliminate the bell-shaped dose-response of purified CBD.”

Indeed, as the researchers had hypothesized, a different dose response pattern was observed with the full spectrum CBD extract. Rather than showing a bell-shaped curve, the full spectrum extract produced a greater inhibition of pain and inflammation at higher doses. Researchers reported, “In stark contrast to purified CBD the clone extract…provided a clear correlation between the anti-inflammatory and anti-nociceptive responses and the dose, with increasing responses upon increasing doses, which makes this plant medicine ideal for clinical uses.”

small dropper of full spectrum CBDFurthermore, the research showed that while a large dose of CBD isolate was required to produce significant pain relief, a much smaller amount of CBD was needed to produce the same relief when applied in a full spectrum extract. While CBD isolate produced a substantial drop in efficacy if more than a specific dosage was administered, higher doses of CBD-rich whole-plant extract did not reduce its efficacy, but rather the pain-relieving effects leveled off above a certain dosage.

Researchers concluded that full spectrum CBD oil “is superior over CBD [isolate] for the treatment of inflammatory conditions. It is likely that other components in the extract synergize with CBD to achieve the desired anti-inflammatory action that may contribute to overcoming the bell-shaped dose-response of purified CBD.”

Interestingly, researchers in this study found that full spectrum CBD oil was more effective than aspirin at reducing inflammation.

Joy Organics Sells Only THC-Free Full Spectrum CBD Oil

THC is the compound found in cannabis which causes a high. Although the cannabinoid-rich hemp used to produce CBD has only trace amounts of THC (below 0.3%) there are processes which can remove these trace amounts. If you do not want THC in your CBD, make sure the company you choose states that its products have zero THC and is willing to provide 3rd party lab reports to back up its claims.

Because it is expensive to remove THC, any company that spends the extra money to do so is going to promote its products as being full spectrum products with zero THC. If a company does not brag about its products being THC free, then there’s a good chance there’s a small amount of THC in the products.

In order to provide our customers with the most benefits, the CBD oil used in Joy Organics products is a full spectrum, cannabinoid-rich oil which contains zero THC and is safe for the entire family. Shop our online store, or contact us if you have any questions.

CBD oil help sleep disorders?

Can CBD oil help sleep disorders? There is research which suggests that cannabinoids, such as those found in full spectrum CBD oil, might be able to play a role in helping to regulate daily rhythms and sleep patterns. And there are plenty of CBD users who would back up that claim. In fact, hemp extract, the raw material from which CBD oil is produced, has been used as a sleep aid for centuries.

What You’ll Learn in This Article:

Overview of Sleep Disorders

Sleep disorders are not to be taken lightly. Good all-around health depends on getting a good night’s sleep every night. If sleep issues are not solved they can spiral out of control, causing cognitive declines such as an inability to focus and a reduction in memory recall. It can also result in reductions in motor skills, lethargy, anxiety, depression, high blood sugar, heart disease and much more. And, while not getting enough sleep can elevate the risk of illness, getting too much sleep can also cause serious health problems. As with many of the body’s systems, balance is needed in order to maintain good health.

Researchers have identified more than 84 different kinds of sleep disorders. The most common are insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome and narcolepsy (sudden onset sleep state). The causes of sleep disorders are also numerous and varied. They can include pain or injury, medical conditions such as asthma, psychiatric conditions such as anxiety or depression and environmental conditions such as noise, light, etc. Other factors that can interfere with sleep include genetics, working night shifts, certain medications, aging and stress. Diet can also play a role. Compounds found in foods such as the caffeine in coffee and tea can result in loss of deep sleep. Alcohol is also known to disturb sleeping patterns.

CBD’s Effects on Sleep Patterns

Because the causes of sleep disorders are so varied, their treatments and remedies can also vary from person to person. Prescription medications are usually formulated to take a single approach to helping people sleep. However, other medications are often prescribed to treat the issues, such as pain or anxiety, that are causing sleep problems. CBD oil may be one of the few therapeutic options that has effects on almost all aspects of sleep disorders. CBD has been shown in studies to be a potential remedy for pain, anxiety and depression, and even appetite and addiction issues.

Interestingly, CBD has been shown in research studies to have the ability to help regulate overall sleeping patterns. Some studies suggest that CBD is a biphasic compound. This means it has a different set of effects when taken in small doses or high doses. Alcohol is a good example of a biphasic drug. In small doses, alcohol can give people energy and make them more sociable, but in larger doses it can render them completely unconscious. Likewise, CBD oil may exhibit a stimulating effect in small doses, while at mid to high-level dosages it acts as a sedative.

After reviewing all existing literature on cannabinoids and sleep, researchers published a report in the journal Current Psychiatry Reports titled, “Cannabidiol in humans,” which concluded that “medium- and high-dose CBD is sedating, and has been examined in the context of a number of sleep disorders including insomnia. Initial basic research has suggested that medium-/high-dose CBD is associated with an increase in the percentage of total sleep.”

One of the clinical studies mentioned in the report showed in particular that the administration of 160 mg/day of CBD increased total sleep time and decreased the frequency of disturbances during sleep.

Also, in a report of findings from a series of experiments on mice titled, “Endocannabinoid Signaling Regulates Sleep Stability,” researchers concluded that cannabinoids play a role in sleep regulation and are “both necessary and sufficient to promote long (stable) bouts of NREM sleep.”

Conversely, data from other studies have associated lower doses of CBD with increased wakefulness. According to a report out of the National Center for PTSD-Dissemination & Training Division, published in the journal Current Psychiatry Reports, CBD may both increase REM sleep and reduce daytime sleepiness. The report, entitled, “Cannabis, Cannabinoids, and Sleep: a review of the literature,” concluded that “CBD may have therapeutic potential for the treatment of insomnia.”

How is it possible that CBD oil can both promote sleep and wakefulness? Sleep is a complicated issue which involves a number of areas of the brain. This activity is regulated via a host of neurotransmitters and hormones. Cannabinoids found in CBD oil can mimic neurotransmitters such as anandamide and interact with a variety of receptors, proteins and other chemicals in the brain. These interactions produce changes in the production and behavior of other neurotransmitters. They might also regulate the production of hormones such as melatonin that are involved in sleep.

CBD also helps to treat conditions such as anxiety and depression in much the same way — by helping to modulate the production of hormones such as dopamine and serotonin, which are characteristically low in those suffering from these conditions.

Cannabinoids such as CBD have also been shown in studies to be involved in the modulation of pain signals in the brain and may help to reduce the severity of neuropathic pain. Also, CBD helps to minimize inflammation, which is involved a number of forms of pain.

CBD Products for Sleep

There are a variety of types of CBD oil and methods of administration. The simplest approach is to use full spectrum CBD oil softgels. Using an oral product facilitates the slow absorption of cannabinoids which, in turn, results in more constant levels of CBD in the blood throughout the evening. Conversely, methods such as vaping result in sudden spikes in CBD levels that fade more quickly.

It is highly recommended that consumers purchase a CBD oil product which has undergone a process known as nanoemulsion encapsulation, or simply nanoencapsulation. The reason for this is that blood is made up mostly of water and, as we know, oil and water don’t mix. This process improves the bioavailability of the cannabinoids by making the product water soluble, thereby allowing more of it to make its way into the bloodstream. These nanoencapsulated products have as much as four times the bioavailability as nonencapsulated oils and are usually about the same price.

For adults, experts recommend a dosage of 100 to 200 mg, depending on the patient’s size, taken 30 minutes before bedtime. Some patients might not need this high of a dosage, so it’s best to start small and work your way up. Try 25 or 50 milligrams and see how you react. If it doesn’t help, raise the dosage.

Keep in mind that everyone is different and CBD’s effects will vary from person to person. Effects depend on a variety of factors such as size and weight, whether or not it is taken with food, and which products are being used.

Further investigation into CBD’s effects on sleep disorders and the mechanisms involved is needed in order to make any solid conclusions about the efficacy of CBD oil in treating sleep disorders. Always consult a qualified medical professional before you begin any dietary supplement regimen with the intention of treating a medical condition.

Joy Organics store during grand opening

The booming CBD industry faces a catch-22. As word spreads about the benefits of hemp CBD oil, companies race to bring new products to market.

On the one hand, consumers enjoy more choice. The marketplace offers a wider availability of products and a greater variety of offerings compared to just a few short years ago. In recent years, public awareness of CBD oil — and the miraculous benefits that some people have reported — has skyrocketed.

But on the other hand, regulatory bodies like the FDA have struggled to keep up. Regulation and legislation always lag far behind innovation.

Translation: The hemp CBD oil industry offers products that have helped consumers address a wide variety of ailments. CBD oil sellers are more plentiful than ever before. Their claims are bigger than ever. But many of those claims haven’t been rigorously tested or independently verified.

When you find the right hemp CBD oil product from the right supplier, the results can be unbelievable.

How do you separate the empty promises from the real deal? And why should you choose Joy Organics?

1. Zero THC

Purity matters.

According to a study by the University of Pennsylvania, nearly 70 percent of CBD extracts sold online are mislabeled. That’s very bad news for people who rely on these products to treat serious conditions like anxiety, inflammation and epilepsy.

In addition, the study found that many CBD products on the market contained a significant amount of THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis. That can lead to cognitive impairment and adverse health effects.

Joy Organics products contain zero THC — meaning you enjoy all of the incredible benefits of CBD with none of the psychoactive side effects of marijuana.

2. Full Spectrum

CBD quality is about more than just purity and labeling. Our products contain all of the cannabinoids present in the hemp plant. Feel more than just the benefits of CBD isolate; instead, you get the synergistic impact — or entourage effect — of all cannabinoids working together.

3. Pharmaceutical Grade

Our products are considered pharmaceutical grade because they are manufactured in a facility that’s GMP certified by the FDA. We offer CBD products with the highest purity — that means no binders, fillers, excipients, dyes or unknown substances.

4. Consistency

All our hemp oil comes from the exact same extraction process in the same facility, which creates consistency. This ensures that you receive a product that’s reliable, predictable and effective.

Full Spectrum CBD Oil: What is it?

Cannabidiol (or CBD) is one of the hundreds of different cannabinoids found in the Cannabis sativa plant. This non-psychoactive (doesn’t play with your mind) cannabinoid has been all the rage over the last couple of years. Doctors and patients face significant confusion due to the varying formulation of many CBD products in dispensaries and online, which makes it hard to determine which CBD products to use and which to avoid.

What You’ll Learn in This Article:

Full Spectrum versus CBD Isolate

At present, companies are preparing CBD either by extracting a wide range of cannabinoids and other compounds as found in the original hemp plant — referred to as full spectrum CBD — or by stripping out all other cannabinoids from the extract except CBD — known as CBD isolate.

Which is better: Full Spectrum or CBD Isolate?

While CBD isolate may seem an ideal option for people seeking an entirely THC-free product, a 2015 Israeli study conducted on mice revealed that the full spectrum extract can provide greater relief against pain and inflammation at higher doses. In contrast, the group that received CBD isolate failed to exhibit the same degree of relief at comparative doses. The authors of this study concluded that other components in the full spectrum variety team up with CBD to get the desired results.

Similar or opposite effects arising from the interaction between two or more cannabis compounds to achieve an overall favorable outcome is what we call “the entourage effect.” CBD interacts with its cousin cannabinoids and cannabinoids interact with a diverse set of compounds called terpenoids. Hence, the full spectrum variety may be more effective due to the entourage effect.

However, the benefits obtained from either type of CBD (isolate versus the whole plant) vary with your particular health problem and overall health.

Benefits of the Entourage effect

The benefits of the entourage effect are twofold:

  • Each individual ingredient in full spectrum oil has its own usefulness, magnifying the product’s overall therapeutic outcome.
  • Some compounds present in full spectrum oil neutralize the negative impacts of others whereas some potentiate the beneficial effects of the contained ingredients.

The Composition of Full Spectrum Oil

Cannabinoids and Their Benefits

1. CBD

Counteracts inflammation
CBD has the potential to combat inflammation. It can prevent the immune cells from releasing inflammatory substances. From the results drawn from a study carried out on rats, scientists inferred that applying 10% CBD gel on individuals with inflamed joints could maximize CBD levels at the site of inflammation, countering inflammation in a more effective way.

Enhanced pain-relieving properties
Research shows that CBD can raise the levels of a naturally occurring cannabinoid in your body, called anandamide, which in turn can suppress pain.

Can protect the nerve cells of the brain
CBD can provide protection to the nerve cells (aka neurons) of the brain. Its ability to shield neurons has been of huge benefit to professional athletes, who often tend to suffer from traumatic brain injuries. CBD may cause new nerve cells to generate within your brain. It can also prevent the buildup of toxic proteins in your brain that would otherwise cause the neurons to die.

Calm an anxious, stressful mind
CBD can help you cope with the symptoms of anxiety by acting at various brain sites involved in controlling emotions, behavior and memory.

Moreover, type 1 cannabinoid receptors also play a role in warding off anxiety. Cannabinoid receptors are protein channels embedded at several locations within your body that receive and bind selected cannabinoids. There are two different types of these receptors in our body: the cannabinoid type 1 receptor and the cannabinoid type 2 receptor. Although CBD does not bind well to the cannabinoid type 1 receptor, it does have an indirect tendency to activate these receptors. Once activated, the type 1 receptor can help overcome anxiety.

Another property of CBD supporting its role in anxiety is its use as a sleep aid. People with anxiety often have a hard time falling asleep. According to research, CBD may help you get a good-quality sleep, possibly by promoting the actions of:

May help with acne
CBD may also help curb the excess oil (sebum) production in the skin that is the root cause of acne.

May promote healing of a fracture
CBD may speed up the healing of a bone fracture by promoting bone growth.

2. Δ (9)–tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)

Full spectrum CBD oilFull spectrum CBD contains only trace amounts of THC, but combining THC with CBD in full spectrum oil prevents the THC from having any effect. CBD dampens THC’s psychoactive potential by impeding the breakdown of your body’s cannabinoid called anandamide. This compound prevents THC from binding to the cannabinoid receptors (THC is psychoactive because of its ability to interact with these receptors).

Thus, CBD cancels out THC’S psychoactive potential while allowing the low-dose THC (which may be present in full spectrum oil depending on the supplier) to exert its beneficial effects as follows:

Fight pain and inflammation
THC’s anti-inflammatory activity is twenty times more than that of aspirin and twice that of the locally applied steroid medication, hydrocortisone.

Tame an anxious mind
At low doses, THC can provide relief from emotional stress, anxiety and the frightful memories that occur from post-traumatic stress disorder. Another 2017 research carried out by the experts at the University of Chicago verified this statement by showing that low doses of THC can tame the anxious mind as opposed to the “high” seen at increased doses.

3. Cannabigerol (CBG)

Thought of as the stem cell or parent of other cannabinoids, most of CBG is converted into cannabinoids such as CBD and THC. Unlike THC, CBG isn’t psychoactive. However, similar to THC, CBG can stimulate appetite and may benefit people suffering from eating disorders and weight loss. Both CBG and CBD may be able to block the activity of a potentially detrimental bacterium called methicillin (a penicillin antibiotic)-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (or MRSA).

4. Cannabinol (CBN)

CBN is the breakdown product of THC. It was the first of the cannabinoids extracted from cannabis. The amount of CBN in the original plant is minimal; however, when exposed to air, heat or light, the removal of carbon-containing acid precursors boosts the levels of CBN. It is mildly psychoactive because of its slight affinity for cannabinoid type 1 receptors relative to the type 2 receptors. It reduces inflammation and may also promote bone growth.

5. Cannabichromene (CBC)

This major cannabinoid is also non-psychotropic. Research suggests that CBC may relieve inflammation and pain through mechanisms that do not involve the cannabinoid receptors. It can also keep bacterial and fungal infections at bay. CBC may boost your mood as revealed in this study on a mouse model where CBC, CBD and THC all showed significant antidepressant activity.

Less important cannabinoids in full spectrum CBD:

  • Cannabitriol (CBT)
  • Cannabicyclol (CBL)
  • Cannabifuran (CBF)
  • Cannabicitran (CBT)

Terpenoids Present in Full Spectrum Oil and Their Benefits

cannabis plantTerpenes (or terpenoids) are compounds that impart a distinct flavor and aroma to the cannabis plant. Although potent, these compounds are also a part of various foods like broccoli, mangoes, herbs and spices. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other governing agencies include terpenes under agents “generally recognized as safe.”

As discussed by Dr. Russo in his famous study, terpenes interact with cannabinoids too, promoting the entourage effect of full spectrum oil.

There are over a hundred different terpenes in cannabis; the most common ones are:

A major component of lemon and other citrus essential oils, limonene may raise the levels of feel-good chemicals (dopamine and serotonin) in your brain. This helps pacify an anxious, stressful mind as well as uplift your mood.

Limonene in full spectrum oil may destroy the bug that causes acne, further enhancing CBD’s beneficial effect against acne.

Myrcene is an anti-inflammatory, pain-reliever, muscle relaxant and strong sedative.

Pinene may relieve inflammation, open up narrowed airways, ward off serious bacterial infections and boost your memory and mental alertness by increasing the levels of a brain chemical called acetylcholine. This latter effect of pinene can counterbalance the short-term memory issues induced by THC in the whole plant CBD extract.

Pinene also holds promise against MRSA, which further promotes the activity of cannabinoids in the full spectrum against this dangerous bug.

Linalool is a terpenoid alcohol that occurs in many essential oils, including lavender.

Fights inflammation and pain
Owing to its ability to activate the body systems that control pain, linalool may help relieve pain and inflammation.

May help ward off anxiety
Linalool may modify the release of brain chemicals in a way that not only helps to calm down your nerves but also enables you to fall asleep faster. Thus, it is used in essential oils for aromatherapy and relaxation. For the same reasons, these Taiwanese scientists suggested its use for anxiety disorders.

By easing the symptoms of anxiety, linalool counteracts the “high” induced by THC as documented by several studies conducted on animals.

Alleviates burning
Linalool may also numb burning or painful areas on the skin.

Kills parasites
Some parasites incorporate themselves into specialized white blood cells. Linalool can kill these parasites by driving the white blood cells to produce a chemical called nitric oxide, which is toxic to these bugs.

This is the most abundant terpenoid occurring in the cannabis species. Β-caryophyllene is present in black pepper — to which it imparts spiciness. It can strongly combat inflammation and contributes to the anti-inflammatory effects of clove oil too. Research on animals shows that B-caryophyllene is as effective as some prescription anti-inflammatory medications. Having said that, this terpenoid protects your stomach lining as opposed to anti-inflammatory pills, which tend to damage the lining and cause ulcers.

Each compound in full spectrum CBD oil carries unique beneficial properties that add to the entourage effect of the product by aiding or hindering the actions of the other. This, however, doesn’t imply that CBD isolate is not effective — it’s just that full spectrum CBD yields greater health benefits compared to just cannabidiol alone.

“In early November 2018 we decided to start looking for a supplier to add to our Specialty Food Store CBD products. We as most people do now Google Organic CBD and we found number of suppliers. Next, we contact some of them and when we contacted Joy Organic after reviewing their webpage, we know we had found the supplier for our store. We pride ourselves on our customer experience. We found the same type of experience for Joy Organic. We have been providing some of there products to our guests with overwhelming ratification.”

Joy’s processes ensure that her products provide an effective solution while remaining at an affordable price point.

Each of our hemp oil droplets is between 4 to 200 times smaller than the industry standard. This means that they’re more easily absorbed into the blood whether consumed orally or applied to the skin.

Our solution was to create a water-soluble nanoemulsion technology. This patent-pending technology transforms active compounds into nano-sized emulsions.

Our highly bioavailable products are not only extremely effective, they’re also extremely economical. You’ll get the same results from a much smaller amount of what we create than you would from our competitors. This is better for you and your wallet.

Joy is a wife, mom and grandmother. As a self-proclaimed “health nut”, her story begins in a place that many of us know very well – persistent pain and trouble sleeping.

While researching natural solutions, Joy learned of the benefits of CBD and began trying the top brands.

What she found was distressing: only one of the seven biggest CBD oil brands gave her the relief she desired.

After more research, the answer became obvious. Today’s CBD oil industry is a mess. There is minimal government oversight. No enforcement of false label claims and a huge variety of ineffective extraction and delivery methods.

As Joy’s frustration grew, so did her passion for creating a product people could trust. She then put together her team to create the most pure, organic, and bioavailable THC-free full spectrum hemp oil on the market.
